The San Antonio Spurs stopped a three game losing streak by defeating the Golden State Warriors 104-92 in front of sellout crowd at the AT&T Center. The Spurs took the fight out of the Warriors behind the stellar play of Rudy Gay who was inserted into the starting line up. Rudy Gay finished the night with 19 points, 5 REB, 3 BLK and 1 AST.  LaMarcus Aldridge got out of his recent shooting slump to finish the night 24 points, 18 REB, 3 AST, and 2 BLK. DeMar DeRozan was also very active for the Spurs and finished the game with  20 points, 6 REB and 9 AST.

This was a great team effort from the Spurs as they were active on both the offense and defense ends of the court. The Spurs contained the Warriors to just 5-26 shooting from beyond the arc and held them to just 41 % FG shooting for the game. The Spurs were 41-92 from the field to finish the night at 45%  FG shooting and connected on 10-24 shots from beyond the arc.

The Spurs are now 8-7 for the year and are currently 9th in the Western Conference standings. The Spurs will next face the New Orleans Pelicans on the road in the Smoothie King Center. The game can be seen on Fox Sports Southwest at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 19th and the play by play can be heard on WOAI 1200 AM.
